fullsizeoutput_2c85A joyful person…a mother, grandmother, newlywed, care-taker of Mom, influenced by adventures at home and abroad–Sparrow lived and worked overseas.

Once a preschool teacher of three-year-olds, short term mission trips, a member of a worship team, and prayer ministry. Sparrow volunteered with a community housing project, the homeless, a small group leader in Single’s, Women’s Groups, and with Divorce Care.

Sparrow worked for a non-profit organization with a medical clinic and whose goal was to get elderly, homeless, mentally ill off of the streets and into care and housing. Sparrow experienced a few decades of marriage to a spouse with PTSD.

Sparrow designed and painted wall murals for several years. You can view a portion of her art portfolio on the Illustrations page. She discovered that writing stories and illustrating is another type of painting.

View Sparrow’s works on the Published Work page.

A member of SCBWI and Inspire Writers Sparrow recommends both organizations for their support and help with improving skills.
